Overview

A native of Adelaide, Australia, Dr. Byers has taught at the University of North Georgia (91ÁÔÆæ) since 2003. He has published articles on German, World, and Aviation history, and is also the co-creator and Editor-in-Chief of Transitions and Transformations in World History, 1500-Present, the electronic textbook used in 91ÁÔÆæ World Civilizations Since 1500 classes. He is also the co-editor of Etudes Historiques, the 91ÁÔÆæ History, Philosophy and Anthropology Department’s online undergraduate research journal, in publication since 2009, and the director of the 91ÁÔÆæ Wikipedia Editing Project.
