The scholarship will pay for funds for studying outside of the 91ÁÔÆæ classroom in addition to tuition and fees for the next semester. Gloria R. Shott Fine Arts Scholarship

Receiving the Gloria R. Schott Fine Arts Scholarship means more to me than I can put into words. I am, however, writing this thank you letter as an attempt to do so. It is no secret that the funds awarded to me from the scholarship have supported my art career financially by allowing me to finally purchase a king's ransom of prismacolor pencils, the likes of which has not been witnessed on this earth before or since. While I cannot thank the donors enough for their financial support, I am truly grateful for how this scholarship has given me the confidence I need to continue to make bold choices in both my artwork and my life. Thank you for this opportunity. I will not waste it.

Roy C. Moore Scholarship

I have been making art consistently since I was around three years old, but have found an issue: I wanted to do more with my art than make it for me to enjoy; I wanted to make art to help others and be able to visualize their plans and visions. I was also only able to create art for people around me and wanted a further reach than traditional art. The solution came to me when I learned that Digital Art was a growing trend that allowed worldwide reach thanks to the internet. This is what led me to change my focus on art from traditional studio art to digital art.

Patsy M. Street Memorial Scholarship

I would like to thank all the donors who are supporting the University of North Georgia students. I am honored and humbled to be a recipient of the Patsy M. Street memorial scholarship for the 2024/2025 year. My classmates and I have been discussing the rising cost of tuition and fees in the near future. This scholarship will help support these costs and aid me in continuing my education with the University of North Georgia’s Visual Arts Department. I have cultivated a passion for many art mediums and 91ÁÔÆæ Dova is somewhere I am proud to be a part of as a student. I am supported by my professors, who give me beneficial feedback and critique that creates an artistic benchmark for improving. Currently I have started my own art business utilizing the skills I have gained in my academic career that will help me carve a path in the art world and as a teacher.
