Overview
Daniel Kornrumpf is a still life and figurative painter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After earning his M.F.A. in Painting from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2007, Daniel has been teaching art foundation and upper level painting and drawing courses in higher education ever since. At University of North Georgia, Daniel teaches two-dimensional and three-dimensional design, Painting I, and both intermediate and advanced level Drawing at the Dahlonega campus. He received a 91ÁÔÆæ Teaching Excellence Award in 2020.
Daniel’s work has been shown nationally, including exhibitions at the Asheville Art Museum, the DeCordova Museum and the Hunterdon Art Museum. His work has been published in New American Paintings and the Huffington Post. Daniel’s work is currently represented by Blank Space Gallery in New York.
