Lauren Billet
Having recently graduated with her Master of Arts in International Affairs degree, Lauren Billet discusses her “career” as both an undergrad and a grad student, and what her receipt of a Boren Fellowship meant for her future opportunities to experience more.
Lauren was the first-ever 91ÁÔÆæ recipient of a Boren Fellowship for graduate students, which provides unique funding opportunities for US graduate students to study less commonly-taught languages in world regions critical to US interests, and that are underrepresented in study abroad programs.
Just a couple days after this video was shot, Lauren received notification of her first post-graduate job! She is now the Office Manager, Internship Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the President at the Center for International Policy in Washington DC.
