About the Center of Global Engagement
Purpose of the CGE
The University of North Georgia (91ÁÔÆæ) is an institution whose students, faculty, staff, and graduates understand cultural differences, collaborate across cultures, and value international engagement. The University was created in 2013 by the consolidation of former North Georgia College and State University and Gainesville State College. The resulting institution is a multi-campus institution that serves approximately 20,000 students in predominantly the Northeast region of Georgia. The Center for Global Engagement (CGE), the institution's international office, supports 91ÁÔÆæ’s mission by providing global learning experiences to students, faculty, and staff.
