Gain First-Hand Knowledge About Publishing

The spring 2025 internship is designed to be a hybrid or entirely online experience. Student interns will work 10–12 hours per week on academic, trade, and AUSA military titles over a semester’s period. Work will range among editing, marketing, and content creation assignments.

Internship Criteria

Interested parties must:

  • Be an enrolled undergraduate student at the University of North Georgia with a major or minor in English. We are also open to students with computer, marketing, or graphic design skill sets.
  • Have passed Introduction to Publishing (English 3195) with a B or higher.
  • Have a highly proficient understanding of grammar and writing.
  • Understand how to use Track Changes in Microsoft Word.

If you are not an English major or minor:

  • You have passed Intro to Graphic Design (ART 3450) or Visual Literacy (ART 3500) with a B or higher if majoring or minoring in Art.
  • You have passed Fundamentals of Business Management (MGMT 3661) with a B or higher if majoring or minoring in Business.
  • You have passed Social Media (COMM 3530) with a B or higher if majoring or minoring in Communications.
