What is Academic Coaching?
Academic Coaching is a personalized meeting with a trained Academic Success Coach (ASC). They can help you improve upon your skills and current academics. Working with an ASC will help you develop skills in several areas including goal setting, time management, study skills, and more.
ASCs are not counselors or academic advisors. Conversations with the ASC will focus on connecting your current circumstances to achieving your future academic goals. The ASC will partner with you to build upon your strengths and skills to help you achieve your best college experience, and beyond.
Meeting with a coach will help you personalize your academics in a way that is healthy, stable, and manageable for you to stay on track academically.
When Should I Meet With a Coach?

- The mid-point of the semester when you've settled to pinpoint areas to improve, manage long-term assignments, and build upon strategies that are working
- The end of the semester to hone in and focus on your remaining assignments
