Photography
The photography team's primary mission is photographing 91ÁÔÆæ academic events and service activities to accompany news stories and marketing materials. Our services also include employee headshots for the 91ÁÔÆæ website.
We offer employee headshots to maintain a consistent, professional look. 91ÁÔÆæ has adopted headshot guidelines for internal and external headshot photos. Learn more about our headshot guidelines, tips, and schedule.

Guidelines
We require all profile pictures on the site to be indoor professional studio color shots with a dark gray or dark blue background. Since 91ÁÔÆæ offers studio headshots of faculty and staff at no cost, we prefer that you make use of our services.
However, if you have a professional, upright and forward-facing, indoor, color, studio headshot with a solid dark blue or gray background that you would like to submit to Web Communications for approval, please have a web coordinator for the site using the "General Assistance/Questions" form, and attach the picture in the highest resolution available to the ticket.
An example of an acceptable headshot
We do reserve the right to refuse any image we do not view as appropriate for the website, which includes but is not limited to, profile photos that have been Photoshopped or otherwise altered.
Tips for Your Portrait Session
- Solid colors that are mid-tone or neutral are recommended.
- If you wear glasses, they may be taken off or be tilted in a certain way to avoid any glare in the lens.
- Although a portrait session will capture your face and not your clothes, it is important to dress comfortably yet professionally.
- Turn one shoulder closer to the camera so your body is at an angle and tilt your head forward slightly while tipping your chin down.
- We try to create a relaxed atmosphere. Once you feel comfortable, stare straight into the lens and think of something positive.
