Fitness Memberships - Gainesville
Join the Laker Society! With your community membership, you will have access to the Gainesville Campus recreation facilities,which includes a large gymnasium and a fitness center.

Registration and Membership Information
Alumni and community members must register through the Professional & Continuing Education office in person or by phone. All members submit a completed Laker Society Membership Form and Waiver (PDF) before entrance into the recreation center will be granted.
Membership Card
Once the waiver is submitted, first time members need to visit 91ÁÔÆæ Card Services to obtain a swipe card for entrance into the Recreation Area. There is a one-time fee of $10.00 payable to 91ÁÔÆæ Card Services.
Parking Pass
Complete the Community/Retiree Parking Registration Form (PDF). Your parking pass will be mailed to you within three (3) business days after registration and must be displayed in your front window at all times while parking on campus during your visit to the recreation center. Policies and Guidelines
- Memberships and privileges are extended to alumni and community members who have paid the membership fee and signed the appropriate waiver.
- Memberships may be purchased at Professional & Continuing Education.
- Memberships are good for one calendar year.
- The fee is not transferable and non-refundable.
- Fee payment entitles one to use the recreation center and locker room facilities only.
- In order to gain access to the recreation center, each member must obtain a Nighthawks Card from 91ÁÔÆæ Card Services. *An additional one-time $10.00 fee is due at the time the ID is being made. The replacement fee for a lost card will be $25.00. (*Prices/fees are subject to change without notice.)
- Minor dependents, those under the age of 18, must obtain a 91ÁÔÆæ Nighthawks Card from 91ÁÔÆæ Card Services that indicates that they are a minor. When a dependent reaches the age of 18, a new card may be issued at no charge as long as the old card is returned.
- Age requirements:
- Recreation Center: Participants must be age 15 or older to access the recreation center. Minor dependents under age 18 must be supervised by parent/guardian member at all times.
- Membership fees exceed $250.00; therefore, according to IRS regulations, is not tax deductible.
