Timothy Beauchamp

Timothy Beauchamp has held many leadership roles on the University of North Georgia's (91ÁÔÆæ) Gainesville Campus, including director for Nighthawk Preview Day, vice president of Young Adults with Disabilities of Gainesville, and Baptist College Ministry leadership team. He has also held several leadership positions with Operation Christmas Child and has been director of campus representatives since 2021.

Beauchamp, who is pursuing degrees in history and modern languages and expects to graduate in May 2025, said he is a servant first and would prefer to remain a servant as long as he is able.

"I do not lead because I feel I am more suited or desire the opportunity, but because I am rising to the position when nobody else will stand up to claim it," Beauchamp said. "I would much rather follow a mediocre leader than take a leadership position away from someone who may be God's appointed person."

Whenever he is serving as a leader, Beauchamp said he tries to serve with diligence.

"Ultimately, I am responsible for any lack of complete success in an event, and I take any partial failure as my legacy, in order to ensure that I can avoid making the same mistakes in the future," he said.

He takes on the assignments others don't want, giving others the opportunity to perform more enjoyable tasks. In turn, Beauchamp said he gains the respect of others.

"Someone has to do it, and I'll do it so they don't have to. People are more likely to volunteer again because they know they'll be given the best jobs," Beauchamp said.
