How to Generate Print Maps from the 91ÁÔÆæ Interactive Map
How to Create a Print Map Using the "Generate Print Map" Option

Step One: Go to the 91ÁÔÆæ Interactive Map
- Access the interactive map by going to .
- On our Campuses website, there are custom-made printable maps on each of the campus pages.
Step Two: Choose the Campus in the Left Menu
- When you land on the map, you will see the zoomed out, regional view of all five 91ÁÔÆæ campuses.
- In the left menu, select the campus you would like to make a map of.
- When you check the box, the map will zoom onto the campus.
Step Three: Select the Printer Icon in the Top Right Corner of the Map
- You will see two options, "Print (Basic)" and "Generate Print Map"
Step Four: Select "Generate Print Map"
Step Five: Place the Map Section in the red, dotted-lined box
- You can zoom in or out, depending on if you want either the whole map or just a small section.
Step Six: Make Your Selection
- Section 1
- Page size: Choose the size of the paper you will print the map on.
- Orientation: Choose landscape (horizontal orientation) or portrait (vertical orientation.)
- We recommend checking the "Sort legend alphabetically" box.
- Section 2
- You should already be zoomed in on the campus you are creating a map for.
- Use the arrows to the left of the check boxes to collapse or to open the options for each campus and the category.
- Select the checkbox(es) for the categories and/or locations you would like displayed on the map.
- Section 3
- Double check all of your selections from the previous section are within the red dotted-line box. Zoom in and out if necessary.
- Section 4
- Print title: This will appear in the bottom right corner of the map. We recommend including the campus name and the category selected.
- Examples:

- 91ÁÔÆæ Oconee Campus Visitors Information
- Examples:
- File type: Choose PDF or PNG.
- Grid lines: We recommend selecting "no." Choosing "yes" will add a grid overlay to the map.
- Legend Colors: The legend will use either the map colors or just black and white.
- Turn off map: Checking this box will remove the surrounding map area, leaving only the campus rendering.
- Turn off renderings: Checking this box will remove the 3D maps and will leave only the one-dimensional street map view.
- Print title: This will appear in the bottom right corner of the map. We recommend including the campus name and the category selected.
- Section 5
- Select "Generate Print Map." Please be patient. Depending on the amount of markers selected, it can take between one to three minutes for the file to download. Do not refresh your browser or exit out of the page, or else you will have to start over.
How to Create a Print Map Using the "Print (Basic)" Option

Step Two: Choose the Campus in the Left Menu
- When you land on the map, you will see the zoomed out, regional view of all five 91ÁÔÆæ campuses.
- In the left menu, select the campus you would like to make a map of.
- When you check the box, the map will zoom onto the campus. It will also select all of the subcategories.
Step Three: Deselect or Select the Categories You Would Like Displayed
- Uncheck the campus box to remove all of the markers.
- Select the category or subcategories you would like to show on the print map.
Step Four: Select the Printer Icon in the Top Right Corner of the Map
- You will see two options, "Print (Basic)" and "Generate Print Map"
Step Four: Select "Print (Basic)"
- A lightbox will appear showing the markers you have selected. The markers will also include their labels.
- You can adjust the zoom in the lightbox.
Step Five: Select "Print" in the Top Left Corner of the Box
- This will open your standard print options.
- Here you can make the following adjustments:
- Page orientation
- Black and White or Color
- Paper Size
- Margins
- Etc.
- You will not be able to alter the labels or the placement of the markers in your printout.
