Before You Submit Your Request: Tips and Resources
Creating clear and effective tickets via ServiceNow is key to ensuring your request is processed in a timely manner and as you intended.
- Double-check that you have included the exact page URL that needs to be edited. (Ex. /web-communications/toolbox/content/index.php)
- Highlight or alter the color of the content that is being added, changed or removed. Attached the marked-up documents and/or screenshot to your ticket.
- Make sure your submission meets all requirements, such as closed captions and transcripts for videos, accessibility statements on documents, text versions included with other multimedia and sending imagery that is high-resolution and uncropped.
- Utilize web annotators and the snipping tool to create and to edit screenshots of the changes you would like implemented. You can also use the annotators to show us just where you would like something inserted or exactly what you want removed.
- Review and edit your content before you submit. Do not submit content that has not been reviewed and/or edited for the following:
- Spelling & grammar
- AP Style/91ÁÔÆæ writing style guidelines
- Clarity & consistency
