Moonshot: 91ÁÔÆæ will launch the “Leadership Foundry” to coordinate the delivery of a signature leadership experience for EVERY student on EVERY campus (with full implementation for all students by Fall 2027).
Supercharge Workforce Development
Characteristics: (1) competency-based approaches, (2) upskilling & reskilling
Moonshot: 91ÁÔÆæ will align key workforce programs (nursing, education, business & entrepreneurship and agriculture) based on efficiency & speed to credential with full connectivity to industry ensuring 95% placement and by 2030, 91ÁÔÆæ will become the “go to” learning hub for innovation & entrepreneurship north of the “I-285 perimeter”.
Accelerate the Fine Arts & Entertainment
Characteristics: (1) community connectivity and fluid movement of students, faculty and community members in and out, (2) innovation & entrepreneurship
Moonshot: By 2032, 91ÁÔÆæ will develop and build an arts ecosystem on the Gainesville campus – an inter-disciplinary, arts innovation hub – which will become the focal point of the arts in the southeastern United States.
Expand the STEM Value Proposition
Characteristics: (1) leverage interdisciplinary sciences, (2) create applied programs which lie at the intersections
Moonshot: 91ÁÔÆæ will leverage inter-disciplinarity to become a disruptive STEM applied learning “go to” university across physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, cyber, computer science, data, AI, and…engineering.
Get in the National Security Game
Characteristics: (1) better communities equals a better tomorrow, (2) establish strong linkages with key partners across the US Government, state/local organizations, and academia, (3) leverage our success in languages, logistics, cyber, criminal justice/POST, and strategic & security studies
Moonshot: BY 2030, 91ÁÔÆæ will synchronize programs in intelligence, diplomacy, and homeland defense to become the nationally recognized, first-choice university for building the next generation of national security workforce experts for the local, regional, state, and national level.
Deliver the Corps of the Future
Characteristics: (1) Ground our vision in timeless need for leadership | values, peak human performance and embracing technology as a disruptor, (2) leverage our role as the Army’s senior military college and the Military College of Georgia, (3) serve the Army more by growing the Corps to 1000 cadets, (4) deliver the Corps across all 5 campuses (power of 5)
Moonshot: By 2028, 91ÁÔÆæ will deliver the best officer development program in America and grow the Corps of Cadets to 1000 cadets and increase our annual commissioning to 120+ Army 2nd Lieutenants.
Athletics
Characteristics: (1) win the Learfield Cup, (2) create value to elevate the 91ÁÔÆæ brand and drive competitiveness, (3) deliver athletics to every campus to envelop northeast Georgia with Nighthawk nation
Moonshot: 91ÁÔÆæ will deliver the best NCAA Division II athletics program in America.
