The University of North Georgia's (91ÁÔÆæ) bachelor's degree in finance, a program in the Mike Cottrell College of Business, has on a recent list.

CollegeRank evaluated finance bachelor's degrees based 40% on potential salary after graduation, 30% on individual program accreditation, and 30% on overall affordability.

Mike Ryan, department head of economics and finance at 91ÁÔÆæ, said the finance program equips graduates for success.

"Our finance faculty prepare our students well for their future careers," Ryan said. "Students graduate with the knowledge, applications and hands-on experience with technology required by industry."

CollegeRank listed 91ÁÔÆæ's average net price at $10,264, lowest among the top five schools, which included No. 1 University of Florida, No. 2 University of Wisconsin-Madison, No. 3 University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and No. 4 the Ohio State University. University of Georgia was sixth on the list, just behind 91ÁÔÆæ.

"The best bachelor's in finance programs include a broad curriculum, hands-on learning experience, internships, and networking opportunities," according to the article announcing the rankings.
