Sabol earns All-American honor in women's golf

91ÁÔÆæ senior Megan Sabol earned second-team All-American and Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year honors. First-year 91ÁÔÆæ head coach Sierra Campbell was named PBC Coach of the Year.

University of North Georgia (91ÁÔÆæ) women's golfer  has been named a second-team All-American and the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Player of the Year. Also, 91ÁÔÆæ women's golf head coach was named the PBC Coach of the Year, Sabol was named first team All-PBC, and  was named second team All-PBC.

Sabol is the first 91ÁÔÆæ women's golfer to earn the All-American honor from the Women's Golf Coaches Association. She also is the first PBC player to secure All-American status since 2016.

Sabol captured the PBC Player of the Year honor for the second time in her career, the other instance coming as a sophomore. She led the Peach Belt with a 72.88 stroke average, the lowest single-season stroke average in PBC history. The senior from Augusta, Georgia, finished in the top 10 six times in seven events with four top-fives and a win at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial.

Campbell won the Coach of the Year honor in her first season at 91ÁÔÆæ. The Nighthawks led the conference with a 305.25 team stroke average, fifth-lowest in PBC history. 91ÁÔÆæ won the Jekyll-O-Lantern Intercollegiate in October. 91ÁÔÆæ finished the season as the first team just outside of the WGCA top-25 and one of two PBC teams to receive votes in the poll after earning the program's first national ranking in the fall.
