The Best Schools website ranked the University of North Georgia (91ÁÔÆæ) as one of the 2018 Best Online Colleges in Georgia thanks to its seven graduate degrees, two bachelor's degrees and five associate degrees online.

University of North Georgia's (91ÁÔÆæ) diverse graduate degree programs ranging from higher education to public administration earned the school recognition as one of the 2018 Best Online Colleges in Georgia.

According to , thanks to its seven graduate degrees, two bachelor's degrees and five associate degrees online, as well as the multiple classes offered online.

Of the seven graduate programs, one is the doctorate in education with a concentration in higher education leadership practice. The program includes a research and higher education core of 30 credit hours. In addition to the core, students will complete 15 credit hours for the leadership concentration. Rounding out the program is 15 credit hours of dissertation research.

"Professionals seeking additional education to expand their career opportunities can benefit from numerous certificate options, including three 12-credit teacher certification endorsements," according to the Best School's website.

The remaining six graduate programs are master's degrees in international affairs, public administration, criminal justice, kinesiology, nursing education, and middle grades math and science.

The Master of Science in kinesiology is also listed as one of the 40 Best Online Master’s in Coaching Programs, according to The Best Schools. It is offered to students in possession of a similar undergraduate degree in physical education or health.

"The graduate degree provides educators with advanced studies in sports and recreation," according to the website.

Two 91ÁÔÆæ bachelor's degree programs are available online completely: the registered nurse (RN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and general studies. Five associate degrees prepare students for bachelor’s programs in fields such as general studies, political science, social work, and sociology.

"All online programs follow an asynchronous format so students can complete assignments on their own time," according to the website.

The Best Schools website provides in-depth rankings of degree programs and colleges and universities to help students find the course of study that's right for them. The organization also is deliberate in its rankings, balancing academic excellence, return on investment, and indirect or secondary benefits in evaluating schools or programs. It uses a proprietary "multicriteria optimization" algorithm that analyzes key data indicators in the information each school supplies to the federal government.

"We selected the online colleges and universities here based on the quality of their programs, types of courses and degrees offered, faculty strengths, as well as school awards, rankings, and reputation, including a strong reputation for online degree programs," according to the website.
