The Mike Cottrell College of Business Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a major in accounting opens doors to a variety of career paths for the financial professional. Accounting majors are given a strong foundation to build careers individually suited to their professional goals and skills. Whether a student is considering becoming a CPA, a financial planner, auditor or even an entrepreneur, a business accounting degree can be a basis for success.

Beta Alpha Psi
Beta Alpha Psi is the international honorary and service organization for accounting and finance students. Beta Alpha Psi provides:
- Opportunities to develop technical and professional skills to complement your business curriculum
- Engagement within the University community and regional community service
- Extensive interaction among students, faculty, and financial information professionals.
Members must attain and maintain a cumulative major and overall GPA of at least 3.0 and engage regularly in professional development and community service activities. Beta Alpha Psi events are open to all students.
Participation in Beta Alpha Psi events allow you to earn the meritorious Certificate of Professional Development even if you do not meet the GPA requirements for full Beta Alpha Psi membership.
