Summer Symposia (2020) and Academic Year Symposia (2020-2021)
Participants in this program attend a two-week symposium on the University of Georgia campus.
Participants receive a stipend for each day of full participation on campus to assist with travel expenses and meals. Lodging is provided by the Governor's Teaching Fellows Program.
Application Process
The University of North Georgia can submit a total of two nominees. This nomination process is being facilitated by the 91ÁÔÆæ Center for Teaching, Learning, and Leadership (CTLL). Please fill out the and address documents to GTF Nominations Committee.

- Current curriculum vitae
- One to two page teaching philosophy statement

The Academic Year Symposia Program allows participants to attend a three-day symposia on the University of Georgia (UGA) campus.
Dates for the 2020-2021 (Academic Year) are:
- September 2-4, 2020
- September 30 - October 2, 2020
- November 4-6, 2020
- February 3-5, 2021
- March 3-5, 2021
- March 31 - April 2, 2021
Note that this program requires absences from Wednesday through Friday during three weeks in fall and three weeks in spring. As possible, plan class schedules to minimize absences.
