How did you hear about your internship?
One of my friends from my church in Cumming, GA has many connections in the political field and was able to contact Kelvin King and his team to get me a potential position for an internship. For my law internship with Ms. French, my parents reached out to the attorney because they have been work friends since the 1990s and she was more than happy to give me a position as her student.
What has been the most valuable (or favorite) part of the experience?
The most valuable part of this journey was the connections that I have made that will impact and improve my career choice. These connections are invaluable, and I would not trade them for anything.
How will this help you in the future?
By placing myself in two different internships with skills that apply to both sides of my major, I am now better suited to determine which career path I would like to proceed in. I am very interested in the Law side of my studies.
