How did you hear about your internship?
I read about this internship online last March. I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the intelligence community, and this sounded like a great opportunity. I knew it would be a competitive position, but I was confident that 91ÁÔÆæ and the Corps of Cadets had more than prepared me to be a strong, qualified applicant, along with my training in the Georgia Army National Guard.
What has been the most valuable (or favorite) part of the experience?
The highlight of this internship has been the ability to see up close and personal the interworking of the United States military with the intelligence community. I had the opportunity to work with career military, intelligence, and diplomatic professionals, not to mention leaders from over two dozen allied nations.
How will this help you in the future?
This internship will help me in the future because it will prepare me to work in a fast-paced environment where critical decisions have to be made every day to protect American citizens and American interests around the world. This internship has been rewarding because it gave me a better appreciation for the work that countless people do behind the scenes to protect the United States and our allies.
