How did you hear about your internship?
I met with career services to make a list of potential internship sites. They helped me craft my resume and get into contact with my top choices. I reached out, interviewed, and obtained my internship with Enotah Family Treatment Court.
What has been the most valuable (or favorite) part of the experience?
I have been thankful to make many meaningful connections with the FTC team and community members. My supervisor went above and beyond to tailor my experience to align with my interests and future goals. I had so many opportunities to grow professionally and learn about the legal field.
How will this help you in the future?
This internship helped me understand what the day-to-day looks like for legal professionals. It gave me insight to what family law encompasses and affirmed my career goals. As someone with plans of attending law school, I can say with confidence that that this experience was very valuable and aided my preparation for my post-graduate plans.
