Valerie serves as a Dual Enrollment Advisor on the Cumming Campus at 91ÁÔÆæ. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of North Georgia. Valerie had an active role across all 91ÁÔÆæ campuses while she was a student, serving as both a Supplemental Instructor and Senior Mentor for 6 years. After graduation, she continued to work in the realm of student success, working as a Psychology Instructor and Professional Tutor at Lanier Technical College. She has a strong belief that everyone deserves equal access to a quality education. When advising students, her goal is to provide support resources, help students overcome challenges, and motivate them towards achieving their goals. Outside of work, Valerie enjoys reading, scrapbooking, crocheting, cooking, and shopping. She hopes to one day pursue a doctorate in Clinical Counseling Psychology.
